We are often asked questions about the fitting procedures and technical issues when it comes to fitting VW T4 Windows, here are some pictures to try and explain why it takes longer to fit T4 Windows 'properly' and consequently why they are more expensive to fit than some of our competitors (unless they've read this of course!)

VW T4 Window Fitting

After cutting out the aperture, we gently apply heat to make the panel, and the paint, more maliable.
Next we gently tap the outwardly angled bodywork inwards, paint will crack unless warmed.
We then fit the inner trim and do all the necessary cleaning and priming before glueing the panels together. This process is essential to ensure the glass sits as flush into the shallow recess as possible. This is the reason we are not the 'cheapest' as most don't bother with this.
